Although boat trailers are durable, they do wear out. Mostly, this is caused by weather exposure. Metal rusts when exposed to water, so most of the parts should be inspected regularly. They may also need to be replaced. Boat trailers require periodic lubrication, and constant inspection. There are many different parts to a boat trailer that can break down or need repair.

Axle Replacement

Boat trailer axle replacement is extremely important as a means to prolong the life of any boat trailer. The axle is what connects the wheels to the frame of the trailer. When properly maintained, a trailer axle can last for years. However, when not properly maintained, the axle can cause damage to the boat trailer, causing further wear and tear.

Owens and Sons Aluminum Slide-On Trailer, Inc. offers affordable boat trailer axle replacement services in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our company is a family owned and operated business that has been serving St. Pete since 1982.
